The responsibility of the candidate is (1) to conduct vineyard research to quantify vineyard crop load with respect to canopy size, canopy performance, and crop size; (2) to work with project leaders on implementing the use of sensor and GPS technology in vineyards; and (3) to evaluate the effect of crop load management on berry composition parameters. The candidate will cooperate with other members of the research team in supporting overall program objectives.  The candidate will engage in producing peer-reviewed publications and presentations at scientific meetings.
