Undergraduate in Environmental Policy Analysis & Planning.

Alicia, an Alameda resident studying environmental policy analysis and planning, is a recipient of the Thormund and Hannah Miller Scholarship and the Dolores DuMont Scholarship, among many others over the years. Alicia recently spent a quarter studying at Lund University in southern Sweden, where she had the opportunity to experience Swedish culture and learn about their progressive environmental policies. At home, Alicia has raced for three years on the UC Davis cycling team, became a wilderness guide for Outdoor Adventures and founded the Environmental Club at UC Davis, a student organization focused on raising awareness of environmental issues and community service. Scholarships aided in Alicia’s ability to attend UC Davis—which, she says, “has been an incredible experience that has deepened my understanding of the world and allowed for substantial personal growth.”
