Dennise Alatorre

Feb 25, 2014 admin
Undergraduate in Environmental Science and Management.

Dennise is the recipient of multiple UC Davis scholarships, including the LAWR Opportunity Scholarship, the J. M. Long Scholarship and the Thormund & Hannah Miller Scholarship. Originally from Bakersfield, she comes to UC Davis because of the variety of environmental and conservation related curricula. Though Dennise is undecided on a career path, she knows it will incorporate her love for nature and the preservation of Mother Nature’s gifts. She also knows the importance of philanthropic gifts. Dennise says that “receiving these scholarships has been a gift of hope”. She adds to her donors, “You have trusted in me, a complete stranger, with your monetary contribution in order to help me fund my education… I am forever grateful to you.”
