Please welcome Dean Helene Dillard as she begins CA&ES leadership on January 27. She is the ninth dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

"It is a delight to be returning to UC Davis as dean of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences," said Dillard. "I look forward to meeting our many internal and external partners, and building upon our important linkages between UC Davis, California, and the world."

The college extends many thanks to Associate Dean Mary Delany, who served as interim dean for the last 17 months, and fellow associate deans Jan Hopmans, Diane Ullman, and Jim Hill for helping keep CA&ES a world leader in agricultural, environmental, and human sciences.

Dean Dillard comes to us from a long and distinguished career at Cornell University, but as an alumna of UC Davis her connections to the campus run deep. Learn more about our new dean.
