Alison King

Aug 02, 2013 Cal Doval

KingMy name is Alison King and I am one of two Prospective Student Tours Coordinators.  I am a third-year Animal Science major with an emphasis in Livestock and Dairy.  My hometown is Atwater, California and my goal is to graduate from UC Davis, attend veterinary school, and return to my hometown to practice.  I learned about Aggie Ambassadors while competing in the UC Davis FFA Field Day my freshman year of high school; since then I have looked forward to joining the Ambassadors so that I could become further involved in school, travel and speak with younger students, promote UC Davis, and gain new friends with similar interests.  Outside of Aggie Ambassadors, I am a peer adviser for the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Dean’s office and am the contest coordinator for the UC Davis FFA Best Informed Greenhand (BIG) Contest.  My interests include riding my horse, reading, fishing, and the Boston Red Sox.  I look forward to starting this new school year, giving tours, and helping more people become interested and involved in the Aggie Ambassador organization.
