Officer position: Workshops Coordinator

Hey Y'all! My name is Maria Montoya and I am going to be a junior this year majoring in Animal Science with an emphasis in Livestock and Dairy, and minoring in African and African American Studies. I'm from a small town right outside of the bay area called Morgan Hill, but have moved all over the country my entire life. I decided UC Davis was the right college for me when I came and visited the campus and felt so welcomed by everyone. Our college has so many amazing opportunities to offer students, and Aggie Ambassadors is a perfect example. It is so cool that every week our members are introduced to new industry leaders that present internship opportunities, and knowledge about career paths that people never think to consider. I am currently the returning workshop coordinator, but when I am not working with this organization you can always find me at our dairy on campus interning with the head barn manager. I know this year is going to be filled with new opportunities for me to grow as a leader, and I can't wait to keep making my dream a reality!
