Welcome to CA&ES and UC Davis!

You probably have many questions about UC Davis - what is life like on campus and what to expect your first quarter here. The University has created the Pre-Arrival Guide for International Students to answer your questions and to help you prepare for UC Davis. The Guide can be found here: Pre-Arrival Guide for International Students.

New Freshmen Students

If you are an incoming international Freshman student, please use the 1st Quarter Course Recommendation Tool to help you choose your courses for the Fall.

If you were not able to attend the CAES Advising Webinar during the summer, feel free to review the presentation and full program here: CAES Advising Webinar

If you would like to review your CAES degree requirements, our CAES advising structure, and how to plan your schedule, please see our presentation from Orientation: Freshmen Presentation. We also recommend you view our UC Davis Academic Expectations presentation. Here you will find information on how to get the most out of your classes and office hours, success tips, and campus resources.
