New International Students

Aug 11, 2015 Brad Horton

Welcome to CA&ES and UC Davis!

As a new international student you probably have many questions about UC Davis, how to register and what to expect your first quarter on campus. The University has created the Pre-Arrival Guide for International Students to answer your questions and to help you prepare for UC Davis. The Guide can be found here: Pre-Arrival Guide for International Students.

If you are an incoming international Freshman student, please use the 1st Quarter Course Recommendation Tool to help you choose your courses for the Fall.

If you were not able to attend the CAES Advising Webinar on July 11th, feel free to review the presentation and full program here: CAES Advising Webinar

If you were not able to attend Orientation or would like to review your CAES degree requirements, please see the information below. Each CAES presentation is listed with a short description of each:

  • Freshmen Presentation - Advising, College/GE/University requirements, what you should take in the Fall
  • Transfer Presentation - Advising, College/GE/University requirements, what you should take in the Fall
  • UC Davis Academic Expectations - how to get the most out of class and office hours, success tips, resources

I look forward to seeing you this Fall!
