My name is Johnita Lanni-Cradit and I’m a senior Animal Science major from Vallejo, California. I am the Outreach Coordinator for Aggie Ambassadors. This is my fourth year in Aggie Ambassadors and my third as an officer. I joined Aggie Ambassadors because I wanted to get to know people in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and gain opportunities to be more involved in the college. After my first year in the organization, I decided I wanted to take on a leadership role in Aggie Ambassadors. I held the position of Prospective Student Tours Coordinator for two years and greatly enjoyed the opportunity to show off our college to prospective students as well as visiting professors, industry professionals and school groups. I am excited to take on my new role as Outreach Coordinator this year and I look forward to working with schools, organizations and my fellow Ambassadors to spread the word about the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at UC Davis. My favorite part of Aggie Ambassadors is the people who are involved in the organization and the great opportunities we are afforded to represent the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. This organization is full of highly motivated, supportive, friendly people who are all great leaders in their own ways. I enjoy working with my fellow Ambassadors and seeing new Ambassadors grow into great leaders during their time in the organization. We always have a great time whether we're presenting workshops at the State FFA conference or furthering our own leadership skills at conferences throughout the country. I'm looking forward to another great year in Aggie Ambassadors and I hope to work with the other officers to make this the best year yet!
