Maria Montoya

montoyaMy name is Maria Montoya and I am a second year animal science major, and the workshops coordinator this year. I am from a small town called Morgan Hill in California, but I have lived in a lot of different places. Hopefully when I graduate I will go to veterinary school and become a large and small animal vet. I became an aggie ambassador at the beginning of my freshman year because I heard about it at orientation and thought it was perfect for me. This is my first year as an officer, but I decided to take a chance and apply because I wanted to take on more of a leadership role and take a risk. I am looking forward to meeting all of the new aggie ambassadors and becoming closer with all of the other officers. I just want to encourage everyone to take chances because I took a chance by applying to be an officer and it was the best choice I made!
