Hometown: Vacaville, CA
Officer position: President

Hello fellow Aggies! My name is Caitrin Vadnais, and I am serving as your President for this upcoming academic year. In high school I was an active member in my school’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter. Throughout FFA, I attended events where Aggie Ambassadors were either presenting workshops, tabling at a career fair, or judging my competition. The encounters I had with Aggie Ambassadors while in FFA solidified my decision to apply to UC Davis. Knowing that animal science was my interest, choosing UC Davis was one of the best decisions I have made for my educational career thus far. UC Davis not only provides me with exceptional educational opportunities, I also am continuously presented with chances to further develop my leadership and professional skills. I attribute many of these opportunities to Aggie Ambassadors. Upon joining this organization my first quarter here at UC Davis, I attended countless events, such as State FFA convention, and World Ag Expo, that offered me the chance to share my experiences with prospective students, while cultivating my networking and public speaking skills. I look forward to the wonderful year ahead!
