Freshman, ANS
My name is Jocelyne Gonzalez and I am a freshman in UC Davis. This was my first choice and I was lucky enough to get into my dream school. I’ve always wanted to become a vet, which is why growing up I knew that UC Davis was the school that I wanted to apply after high school. I am first generation in my family to go college and I think that is what made it more special to my entire family. I knew that once coming to Davis my life would change drastically. Although this change was worth it the campus, staff, and environment is simply amazing.

I recommend Davis to all students, not only to animal science majors but to all. Considering the fact that Davis offers more majors than any UC. The atmosphere here in Davis is amazing it was completely different for me coming from a big city like Hollywood. It was great coming to a small town like Davis, which is known to be a college town, this is an excellent way to make new friends. I have no regrets coming here I am in love with the school and I know all upcoming freshmen will love this and will have an amazing experience just like how I did.
