Graduating class of 2023 will make a difference in the world

Congratulations to the class of 2023! Your hard work and perseverance, whether you joined us as a first-year or transfer student, has been a wise investment in your future and collectively for society as a whole. Your UC Davis bachelor’s degree will open the doors of opportunity throughout your lives, and we know you will make the most of those opportunities because of the values and skills you’ve cultivated here.

This June, we celebrate in person with 1,850 undergraduates and 176 graduate students from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CA&ES). We applaud your accomplishments and are excited to celebrate your day with you at the Golden 1 Center.

We have full confidence in your future because we know how tenaciously you have worked to earn your UC Davis degree. And we are grateful for your contributions to the culture of this campus, one that is widely respected throughout the world. We especially want to acknowledge the support and encouragement of your families and friends who have helped you on your journey through higher education.

Our graduates bring vision, enthusiasm, talent and intellect to the opportunities and challenges that await.
